10 Ways To Eliminate Food Poisoning With The Microwave

Microwave ovens can play an important role at mealtime, but special care should be taken when cooking or reheating meat, poultry, fish and eggs to ensure they are prepared safely. Microwave ovens can cook unevenly and leave “cold spots” where harmful bacteria can survive. For this reason, it is important to use the following safety tips to prevent foodborne illness microwave. Use only containers that have been manufactured specifically for use in the microwave and that is labeled for microwave use. 9. Storage tanks plastic material, such as margarine tubs, to carry containers, containers of cream whipped and one-time use containers should not be used in microwave ovens. These containers can warp or melt, possibly causing harmful chemicals to migrate to food. 10. Microwave plastic wraps, wax paper, cooking bags, parchment paper, white microwave paper towels and safety must be safe to use. Do not let them touch the food during microwave plastic wrap.
